Kate Torchilin, PhD, MBA
Dr. Kate Torchilin, CEO, Biocell Center Corp., has many years of management and entrepreneurial experience in the life sciences and healthcare industries in the US. Most recently, she was CEO of Enspire-Medica, a technology incubator. Prior to that, Dr. Torchilin was Director of Global Clinical and Toxicology Markets at Thermo Fisher Scientific, the leading company in life sciences analytical technologies and clinical diagnostics, where she oversaw the creation and growth of the global clinical and forensics program for several product lines. Previously, she held various management positions at Thermo Electron, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning and marketing roles. Prior to Thermo, Dr. Torchilin was a technology licensing professional at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center at Harvard Medical School, where she worked with doctors and research faculty to commercialize new healthcare technologies Dr. Torchilin holds B.S. degree in Chemistry from Moscow State University, Russia, Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry from Tufts University and MBA from Harvard Business School.
